The Very Beginning (2020)
Life arises from the darkness, it is fragile and has to be protected. We do not recall our first visual and sound experience, so essential, because symbolizes the very beginning. This sequence of photograms, all of them achieved in dark room, attempts to recreate not only the ambience that hosts an embryo but also its first sensory discoveries. This work is a tribute to the Cosmos and its immensity: mother’s womb like a metaphor of the Universe, the wild blue yonder to cross only with the mind.
